Ask for an export of the flight logs — they show how much the drone has flown, as well as crashes and errors. Take the gimbal in your hand and check for play, confirm it calibrates without juddering at start-up, then record a short clip while walking. Check the cycle count and swelling on every battery, and the registration rules and no-fly zones where you plan to fly.
