All devices differ in price by model, year of manufacture, configuration and condition, so the range within one category is wide. Sellers set their own prices, so compare a few listings for the same model before you make an offer.

Ask to see the device powered on, test every port, button and charging, and ask for a receipt or warranty card if they exist. Compare the serial number on the device with the one in the listing and arrange the meeting in a public place.
